The Roche local team are the representatives of the local Roche stakeholders, and are your key points of contact within Roche. Covering project management, Safety, Health and the Environment, People and Culture, and IT, the local team will work together with the global team and technical project managers to ensure the project translates into a fit-for-purpose workplace.

Roche Local Project Manager
- Defining project scope, goals and deliverables
- Responsible for achieving the project objectives
- Ensuring the project meets their deadlines, quality and budget
- Leading the project planning sessions
- Managing project progress and adapting work as required
- Designing a risk mitigation plan
- Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Conducting project reviews and creating detailed reports for Executive staff
People and Culture
- Responsible for the overall implementation of the Roche Global HR Strategy and local affiliate strategy
- Develop leaders towards the Roche Leadership commitments to drive employee engagement and business performance
- Further enrol the affiliate into the Roche people practices, covering attraction, development and reward of people
- Identifying true value drivers and contributing to organizational engagement across all functions
- Acts as a business partner to provide the best resource solution to get things done
- Formulates HR targets and budgets
- Ensure legal compliance with labour law
- IT Business Relationship Manager
IT Business Relationship Manager
- A communication liaison between IT and the business (cross-organization)
- Supporting with strategy alignment and business enablement
- IT point of contact and escalation
- Bi-directional awareness and advocacy
Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Officer
- Locally appointed Roche representative responsible for ensuring SHE protocols are followed
- Ensure appointed contractor is managing SHE risks in accordance with local SHE legislation and internal Roche SHE Directives
- Ensure TPM is monitoring the contractor’s SHE performance
- Audit potential & contracted suppliers and initiate corrective actions
- Collect, evaluate, assess and communicate SHE-related key performance data on a regular basis
- Ensure global construction safety manual is adhered to by project team members
- Ensure local mandatory safety guidance is being considered throughout the project
Procurement
- Locally support with legal and regulatory advice
- Support with sharing key legal terms & conditions to be agreed by external parties
- Support with the onboarding of new external vendors
- Review and provide input with the drafting of contractual agreements
- Support with the use of Roche’s technology data portal to collate tender information/submission
- Main point of contact to advise on legal matters
- Provide an update on any amended Roche legal T&C’s
- Support TPM with the local procurement process & contract selection
- Support with the soliciting of tenders & tender submissions
